Writer, Researcher, Filmmaker and Educator

I make documentary films at Stanford University. I write for various outlets — most recently Al Jazeera America and The Nation. I consult with Research Action Design, a worker-owned collective that teams up with grassroots groups on community-led research, transformative media organizing, technology development and collaborative design projects.

I was a Middlebury Environmental Journalism fellow from 2013 – 2014. I’ve taught at UC Berkeley and led video workshops with Intersection for the Arts. I produced and sound engineered documentaries and newscasts for Free Speech Radio News and a public affairs show, Making Contact.
